Just a couple of days after I wrote a blog about BoxSweeper.com and how massive their collection of movies are, annoyingly the site went down — it looks to me like they are upgrading their site. I feel really ashamed and annoyed because right now, I am still at the point of establishing a good reputation, and upsetting a visitor because of an in-operational site I'm blogging about is the last thing I would want to do.

There are two reasons why I'm writing this blog: first, is to apologize and second, is to tell you that I stumbled upon, not one nor two, but countless of other online video streaming sites that are—of course—Free, and sites that you are about to be visiting regularly to satisfy your movie-cravings.

You see, immediately after I realized that things went crazy on BoxSweeper.com, I tried to look for other free video streaming sites to compensate for all the troubles. And luckily, and fortunately for you, I did find a few.

And about BoxSweeper.com, I hope that they really are upgrading the site, and that they would be back soon.

Well, I wouldn't really want to keep you waiting so here are the links:

To be quite honest with you, the selfish part of me is a little bit hesitant in divulging this amazing site. But also another part of me, which is the more dominating one, would like you to know about it and benefit from it—which is, by the way, a win-win situation for me. If I tell you about this site, the more people will visit it. That means the more visitors they have, the bigger the traffic. And the bigger the traffic, the better the income. And with a good income the site will keep running. And if the site keeps on running, I can keep on watching free movies. So, that's the "win-win" situation I was talking about. I've got nothing to lose here, except for the bandwidth. But I can live with that. I'll figure out a way. Now, go help me spread the good news—refer your friends to my site and not directly to this site I'm blogging about. Hehehe.

Another good thing I would like to point-out is this is one space-saver site. Ever since I stumble upon this site a couple of weeks ago, I have rarely fired-up my limewire and BitTorrent. Not only has it helped me save some hard drive space from movie downloads, but it also helped me stay away from privacy-infesting spyware and malware. Grr!

This site in the context of interface is actually very simple. It's one of those websites, whose design wasn't made to leave you jaw-opened. It's simply there to help you satisfy your movie cravings. The way I see it, the site doesn't even have an immense database because they don't need one. What they actually do is just provide you a link of all the movies they can find in the internet. Hhmm.. That does look and sound familiar. Ooh! It's a lot like what I'm doing.

URL is http://www.boxsweeper.com/

Now go watch your favorite movie, tv-shows, cartoons, anime, documentaries, music videos, and so on and so forth. Enjoy!

Download YouTube Videos Online

Some might like the more complicated and efficient way of downloading videos from YouTube, which is thru downloading an application first (read one of my posts to know more), but some might opt to do the simpler and space-effective way, which is thru this website that I'm going to be blogging about for the rest of this blogticle.

I've known about this website for quite sometime now. In fact, I've already used up almost the entire 40Gs of my drive space all because of those .flv videos i stole from YouTube. The site is simple and might probably be the simplest, fully functional website one will ever see.

The interface might be simple, but its capability says otherwise. It's powered by AJAX technology, and just in case you haven't heard of it — AJAX is one of the latest, dynamic mechanism that most web-based enterprise management systems are using to provide superior experience to users. What it does is not much in terms of quantity, but when we talk about speed and quality, this is where you'll be left amazed. AJAX enables web pages to not reload the whole page and you won't even notice the page blinking while loading, thus making the website faster. Actually, A LOT FASTER.

Going back to this website, I think the only way these guys are earning money is thru the google ads they have on their site — not unless I missed any under-the-table agreement with them and those online video companies. You'll never know. Does the Virus and Anti-Virus connection mean anything here? I'll leave that up to you.

Unlike the previous posts where I've been placing the link at the bottom to make sure you read the rest of the paragraph, this one will be a little bit different for comprehension purposes.

How to Download the Videos
1. Go to any online video streaming site and look for the video that you want to download.
2. copy the link and paste it on the wide-page text bar you'll see on the middle part of videodl.
3. After hitting "Get It", and after the site confirms the validity of the URL of the video, a "Save Target As" link will appear — click on it.
4. Lastly, and definitely one of the most important thing to remember when downloading videos from this site, is to rename the file extension to ".flv".

Requirements
1. FLV player - the only way for you to play a video downloaded from YouTube through VideoDL is to rename it to .flv. And .flv are flash files only playable by an FLV player. Here is the link.
