Peer-to-Peer file sharing might probably be the best thing that has ever happened to me as a consumer — on the other hand, from a company’s perspective, it is without a doubt, the worst.

Just in case your mind hasn’t been tainted yet with this innovated form of conspiracy to commit piracy on the internet, let me explain to you briefly what a Peer-to-Peer is.

Famously known as P2P, this online file sharing community lets you download and upload music, videos, software and basically everything of anything for nothing.

P2P industry has been on the works since 1999 and has been through a lot of ups and downs, especially during its first 2 years in service. If there’s somebody who was to write the very definition of “life is a roller coaster” on a dictionary, I should say, "nobody can articulate it better than Shawn Fanning" — the man responsible for deploying the lawsuit-silo, Napster.

And lastly, as a consumer whose aim is just to download music and videos, don’t worry you won’t get yourself into trouble.

Well, enough of the history and constitutional class. Let’s now point the cursor back to 2008.

Right now, you will see a lot of websites saying they will give you this and that for free, but then, later on you’ll be shocked upon seeing an unfamiliar charge on your billing statement.

Reminder from a friend: any sites that asks you for your credit card info, no matter how they advertise their product to be free — aren't exactly the type of sites that provide free products and services. Otherwise, they won’t be asking for your credit card, will they? But the best weapon that you have in determining who's legit and who's not is rational thinking my friend.

And also in connection to my site, I can’t blame you if you thought that my site is a scam too. Considering the massive number of scam sites that are all over the internet now, chances are, you'll run into illegitimate sites more often than not.

But just for the record, and to make things clear, I’m not giving out free files here. What I do, is simply show you what are the things you can get for free off the internet, where to get them, and how to get them. As simple as that. And last time I check, as such isn't considered as scam.

Now, do you really know those rightful organizations that are really worthy to be called free providers?

If you don't, let me give you a list of all major P2P file sharing applications, and I'll even include their URLs.

They are ranked according to their usability, power, and comprehensibility.
